Your child is not the same as everybody else’s!

You can start potty training your child when they are at whatever age it is their ready. Some children are ready just after 12 months and others might not be ready until well after 48 months and up.
So the question should not be “what is the average age of potty training?” but instead, “how do I know MY child is ready for potty training?”
One sure tell sign your child is of age to potty training is when they simply start showing interest in the toilet. Another sign would be when your child starts to show signed of discomfort in their soiled diaper.
As a matter of fact, I have heard from several mothers who had their child completely out of diapers by the time their child reached 13 months.
How did they do it?
Started potty training! They didn’t wait for when every other mother toll them to start, they got to training right away and it worked! Imagine how much money you would save in diaper costs alone :)
